What big thing could we do to make a difference?

Our service conducted a housing survey amongst our supported families earlier this year.
Many families reported struggling with heating costs, and also living in housing with inadequate insulation and which had damp and mould. These conditions add stress and anxiety and impact on mental and physical health - ensuring good quality housing is a priority. I appreciate that heating costs are not something the authority has control over, but also ensuring that any heating in social housing is as economical as possible would help - there are still houses with storage heating, which is highly expensive.
