Continue to invest in breastfeeding support throughout our community and services as this is known to improve health and cognition and will therefore improve life prospects (also has an intergenerational effect, so effects long lasting through generations)

Invest in a children's centre where opportunities can be provided for families to connect and be part of their community. Also, support and services can be collated here, so families have a point of contact for help and support.

Invest in a community garden, with poly tunnels where families can come together to grow nutritious food.

Invest in a bike centre (perhaps at Hatston), where children can go to learn to ride their bicycles. Have cycle paths through towns and some provision in rural areas too to encourage use of bicycles. Having more community facilities (other than sports centres) will ensure that we are inclusive and are putting our children's health and wellbeing first.
