The results from the W.S Sinclair comp fished on the23rd of May 2010 are as follows

1st David Sabiston = 740 points

2nd Paul Firth = 650 points

3rd Berty Robertson = 450 points

4th Gerry Wilson = 440 points

5th Gregor Hay = 380 points

6th Brian Thomson = 360 points

7th Jocky Robertson = 340 points

8th Keith Eccles = 250 points

9th Robbie (Junior angler) = 180 points

10th Ylea (visiting finnish angler) = 180 points

11th Victor Anderson = 160 points

12th Olle (visiting finnish angler) = 140 points

 

Heaviest fish was a Ling landed by Gerry Wilson

 

A few fish around with conditions flat , overcast, raining with very little tide and hardly any drift.

 

Results for the Orkney Brewery comp fished on the 6th of June 2010 as follows.

1st Heaviest fish a Ling of 4.60kgs - jocky Robertson
2nd Ling 3.35 kgs Gerry Wilson
3rd Ling 2.45 kgs

This trip was fished on a flat sea with little tide, conditions were overcast, and there was hardly any drift but reassuringly the catches were good with impressive bags of good Ling and Cod as well as a smattering of Pollack and other species.
