The club boat was out on Friday the 13th of February 2009. The weather was fantastic, flat calm with a light easterly wind. The fishing was slow to say the least with around 10 Ling caught, one decent Cod, a Dab and loads of good sized Coalfish.Some of the boys were trying for a Pollack, however none played ball and the boat returned to port around half three. All in all a very cold but enjoyable day, but the freezers will have to be filled on the next trip.Gregor.. |
