Community Wellbeing Co-ordinators
14 hours per week
£23,429 pro rata (plus pension contribution)
Fixed Term Contract: maximum 14 months
5 posts available; one in each of
Hoy; Rousay, Egilsay and Wyre; Sanday; Shapinsay; Stronsay.
We are looking for 5 skilled and highly motivated individuals to work collaboratively with the project team to build capacity in the island’s community to reinforce and enhance existing community led well-being services.
You should have knowledge of community issues, experience of collaborative work and have good communication and interpersonal skills.
The successful applicants will be based at the office of the relevant island Development Trust and the majority of the work will be island based although some travel to Kirkwall may be required from time to time.
The employer will be the relevant Island Development Trust but the post holder is expected to work collaboratively with other Island Co-ordinators, and with the Project Manager and Evaluator, based at VAO.
