Designed to be a community space where all are welcome, Milestone Community Church is available for hire to the public. Hire can be tailored to your needs on a per room basis or, for larger events, the entire venue can be hired at a discounted day rate.

The Main Hall (11x10m) seats up to 130 in comfortable chairs which can be configured in various layouts or cleared away for a large floor space.



The Meeting Room (7.6x4.8m) is behind the Main Hall, separated by sound proofed removable wall panels. This can function as a bright and airy meeting room or the panels can be removed to create one large space with the Main Hall, seating around 170.

The Peedie Room (4.6x4.5m) has chairs in a circle and is an ideal meeting space for up to 20 people.



The Kitchen is modern and equipped with kettles, urns, a microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer as well as a large double oven with electric hob.


The Foyer is a cafe space with three round tables and chairs. Further rectangular tables and chairs are available for use in any of the rooms.

Current use of the building includes a yoga class in the Main Hall, a Knit 'N Natter group in the Peedie Room and a Bookbug group for young children in the Main Hall, as well as more occasional use for concerts, weddings and funerals.

The entire building is wheelchair accessible and the disabled toilet also has baby-changing facilities. The sound system enables sound to be heard in any or all of the rooms and there is an induction loop for the hard of hearing in the Main Hall.

Hire Costs

Main Hall - £10.70 per hour or £32.10 for 4 hours. An additional charge of £21.50 is made if you wish chairs cleared from the hall.

Foyer - £10.70

Kitchen (including use of cooker) - +£12.90
Kitchen (without cooker) - +£6.40

Day Rate (inc. kitchen and use of cooker) - £66.40

Evening Concert (inc. chair setup and early evening soundcheck) - £82

Wedding - exclusive use of entire venue - £110
