U3A Walking Group - November 2019

At last we managed a walk with no rain and a lot of sun.
Eleven of us walked the circular walk by the Round Church in Orphir in a clockwise fashion because of the wind direction. Although the wind was brisk, cool and NE we were out of the worst of it all the way around. Apart from a few Eiders and Long Tailed ducks there was not a lot to see out to sea except a second Oil Rig that had come in overnight.
The walk was a little short for the conditions and we could have done with going on for another half hour, unlike the last two walks when half an hour less might have been a blessing.
The next walk will be Friday 6th December. I will send details out nearer the day when we have a better idea as to the forecast.
