U3A Botany Group - June 2018 (1)

On Tuesday 5th June the Botany Group met in Birsay to walk from Bough round to the Whalebone on Northside.
Present on the walk were Chris, Peter, John, Trevor , Ros, Marguerite , Fiona & Rosey (behind camera).
Plant list: Daisies, Broad leafed dockan, Curled dockan, Celandine, Creeping buttercup, Meadow buttercup - divided leaf, Birdsfoot trefoil, Sorrel, Kidney Vetch, Silverweed in flower, Hoary Cress, Sea Campion and nesting arctic terns amongst the thrift - sea pinks.
