Nine of us got together at the Fossil Museum today to take take photos and what a varied lot of subject matter from the new exibit of the Building of the Barriers to rocks that glowed in the dark and a lot of fossils in between.Tea was taken with mystery cake and a view of the photos of Stroma."Old/Ugly" seemed to have defeated a lot of people and there was some discussion wether old industrial heritage was ugly or not and the exact meaning of the carving from Hadrian's Wall.
The next meeting is at Inganess Beach on 19th September ( ie in 3 weeks time as a lot of us are away at the end of September) at 2pm to take photos of Planes, Boats but no Trains and anything else that catches the eye.Tea will be taken at the airport unless one of the town cafes seems more attractive to our cake experts.The project is "Field or Fields" as there should be some good harvest patterns to be seen.
