Prayer for Ukraine
9 March 2022
Starts: 10:00
Ends: 19:00

Prayer for Ukraine & world disaster

Moncur Memorial Parish Church hall will be open on  Wednesday 9th March, for prayer for the Ukraine and world disaster. Its an opportunity for people to drop in for silent individual prayer and reflection- whenever suits you during the daytime. The church hall will be open from 10am till 7pm. Our church organist, Bruce, will play reflective classical music on the organ from 11am to noon and again at 3pm to 4pm. In between there will be supportive prayers, music videos projected to support your thoughts and prayers. There will be tea candles that can be lit individually; a table for interactive visual prayer for those who are less word-minded; and some boards for people to write up their own thoughtful prayers which others can later draw on. You need not say anything out loud. The minister may lead one or two prayers, but essentially its to help people individually have time for quiet reflection and prayer. It’s a time to know you are not alone in your concern, and help those in the disaster areas link in spiritually to the power of prayer from Stronsay .

all welcome.
