Last night at The Cosmipolitan, aka The Commodore, Robbie Stanger and Stevie Linklater both qualified to play at the Orkney Darts Classic in September.

Robbie beat Bruce Moar 3-1 in the semi final to qualify for the first time and Stevie beat Michael Muir Snr 3-0 to secure his return to the big stage for the second year running. Robbie went on to beat Stevie 3-1 in the final. Thirty players took part including an encouraging amount of younger players which is good to see.

Next week the final two qualifying places are up for grabs in the Kirkwall Legion. Names have to be in for 7.30pm and it's £3 to enter.
