17th - 19th October at Orkney College You are invited to the Scottish Iron Age Matters seminar, an event for the presentation and discussion of recent and ongoing research on the Scottish Iron Age. It is hoped that there will be a broad representation from the profession to contribute towards ongoing discussions on Scottish regional and national research priorities and the establishment and implementation of Iron Age research agendas. The seminar will consist of a mixture of short papers presented over five sessions with discussion, workshops and a field trip. The sessions will focus on particular geographical regions and both the papers and workshops will consider the themes: Identity Materiality, Landscapes & Dwelling and Regionality. We anticipate the event will involve active participation from all delegates and lively debate! See Programme Here
