Guild - 'Whose we are and whom we serve'

“The Church of Scotland Guild invites and encourages women and men to commit their lives to Jesus Christ and enables them to express their faith in worship, prayer and action.”

South Ronaldsay and Burray Church guild meet the first Tuesday of each month in St Margaret’s, in the Hope.

The meetings are open to everyone (women and men) and visitors are very welcome

There is a short period of worship followed by interesting, variable and enjoyable programmes. This can be another Guild visiting ,travel talks, demonstrations or musical evenings

The guild is also involved in fund raising, some of which are for our local church, leprosy mission and of course our partnership projects. This year we are supporting Mary’s Meals and The Julius project – supporting homeless people.

Our guild joins with the other guilds in Orkney for the summer and winter Rallies organised by the Presbyterial council.
