On Saturday 26 March 70 trees will be planted as part of the Queen's Green Canopy, celebrating the Platinum Jubilee. Willing helpers are invited to bring a spade, and a mallet if they have one, and get involved in this event that runs between 10am and 12pm.

The trees planted will comprise of native varieties - downy birch, aspen, alder and rowan.
