Sheila Scott 17th August - 12 September 2012 We are very pleased to host an exhibition of Sheila Scott's work. Sheila is a well kent face in Orkney and we are delighted to see examples of her work in a wide range of different media: from the mosaics made famous at the airport, through traditional acrylic and watercolours to new work with glass painted calligraphy.
Chloe Jowett 'Orkney Images' 14 July - 15 August 2012 Chloe has taken a new look at the familiar Orkney landscapes, the wide skies and the rolling farmlands. For further information check out her website at www.orkneyelements.com
Andy Fawcett 8 June - 11 July 2012 June sees the first solo exhibtion for Andy Fawcett. Andy works in a wide range of media from delicate pencil sketches, through watercolours covering a range of subjects from landscapes to birds.

Lizza Hume 'A Time to Reflect' 13th April - 9th May This s very specail exhibtion as Lizza takes a break from the textile designs of Hume Sweet Hume to show us her more reflective work. These intricate pieces will show you new details each time that you look at them. A true delight.
Nicki MacRae Orkney Held Me Close March 10th to April 11th 2012 Nicki is a self taught artist who has fallen in love with the Orkney landscape. Her work in this exhibtion ranges from the sketches made in the boot of the car on blustery visits through to the more considered studio work as she explores the impact that Orkney has left on her. Lesley Poulton & Jan Judge 11th February to 7th March 2012 Lesley & Jan are sharing their first exhibtion at the gallery. As founding directors of the business it is time to see their work.
14th January to 8th February 2012 featuring Celina Rupp Hayley Budge & Angela Geddes This exhibtion is an exciting start to the New Year. Three artists that have not had exhibitions in Orkney before featuring: Celina Rupp. Celina is better known as a fine jewellry maker. This is a fine opportunity to see the artist behind the jeweller. Working in acrylics and pencil drawings Celina offers us detailed animal protraits and fine landscape views of well -known Orkney sea views. Hayley Budge is showing pen drawings, with watercolour wash, and photo prints. Hayley uses the pen and wash to explore the scenic water views and the craft found there-in. Her portfolio features a pair of bird portraits, and a range of photo prints and card of St Magnus Cathedral. Angela Geddes has been a photographer for most of her life, Her work features subjects landscapes from Kirbister Loch across the world to Hong Kong together with flora and fauna shots.

Jenna Hume 'Evanescence' We are delighted to show the new work from Jenna who is well known as one half of the textile design team of Hume Sweet Hume. Life Drawing Group
The Life Drawing Group meets monthly in Holm to offer members the chance to develop their skills drawing the human form. The group includes a wide range of abilities and experience and is always looking for new members. For more information see the noticeboard at the shop. 15th July to 24th August
