Portrait Group

On the fourth Saturday of each month the Portrait Group allows people who want to have a chance to draw faces to meet at the Art Shop from 10.30 - 12.30pm.

Meeting as a group encourages us to 'have a go' at protraits. Several of us haven't tried drawing portraits before and we learn a lot about techniques and 'different ways of seeing' from each other.

The cost is £2  to allow you to drop in for as long as you can spare.


People of all ages are welcome although if you are under 16 you will need to be accompanied by an authorised adult.

If you would like to come you can just turn up on the day.  Booking isn’t essential, but if you can give us a call on 873234 beforehand we will have an idea of the numbers attending.

Whether you live in Orkney or are here as a visitor, you will be welcome to come along to this group.
