Attitudes to Discrimination Posted on 18 June 2012 In August 2011 the Scottish Government published the key findings from the section of the Scottish Social Attitudes Survey 2010 which looked at attitudes towards discrimination and positive action in Scotland. The document can be accessed at the following link: www.scotland.gov.uk/Publications/2011/08/11121400/0 The report doesn’t make entirely positive reading. Although it is clear that the majority of people in Scotland do not hold discriminatory views and are increasingly accepting of diversity, it also shows that there are still groups in society who experience discrimination and intolerance.
