09 October 2024Scottish Traditional Dancing, 7.30pm on Fri 11 October

If you fancy getting your dancing shoes on, come along to the Stenness Hall this Friday, 11th October at 7.30pm.

You don't need to bring a partner and it's suitable both for those who are confident with the steps and absolute beginners - all are invited to join in and have fun. These sessions are generally aimed at adults but an accompanied child would be made welcome.

Entry is £4 and there's always a break for a cuppa and a biscuit.

Our Fun Day starts at 10am and continues into the early evening with music, licenced bar and Bite to Eat food van from 4pm onwards.

24 July 2024Tesco Stronger Starts (in-store token voting) for SOCS project

Stenness Community Association SCIO is bidding for a cash boost from the Tesco Stronger Starts scheme and you can vote instore now until 30 September!

Stronger Starts provides grant awards of up to £1,500 to local community projects, with a particular focus on children and young people.

Three groups in every community have been shortlisted to receive grant awards and Tesco customers can vote for the group they think should take away the top award in their local Tesco store.

The Stenness Outdoor Community Space project aims to develop a community space where people of all ages and at all stages of life can come to play, learn, socialise and participate in the outdoor environment.

So, if you're shopping in Tesco's we'd be delighted if you could pop in a token to support us!
