The members of the Stenness Outdoor Community Space (SOCS) project were really pleased that some members of the community turned out on Sunday 26 March to speak about what they would like to see done to develop the grounds around the school and hall.
The aim of the project is to develop a community space where people of all ages and at all stages of life can come to play, learn, socialise and participate in the outdoor environment.
At this stage in the project, the team have no preconcevied ideas about what specifically to do, so we are keen to hear as many views as possible on what would make the space a better place to visit and use, for adults and children.

There will of course be further phase(s) of consultation, once we've reviewed the ideas and explored what might be possible.
