GUIDE DOGS SCOTLAND

Guide Dogs Scotland wants a society in which blind and partially sighted people enjoy the same freedom of movement as everyone else.

We have training centres at Forfar, Edinburgh and Hamilton, outreach in the Highlands and Borders, fundraising branches throughout the country and over 1500 volunteers.  Our training centres offer services to blind and partially sighted people and our fundraising branches are focal points in our drive to raise vital funds for Guide Dogs.

We campaign alongside blind and partially sighted people for better access to services and transport, and freedom of mobility. Working together we aim to influence policies and legislation.

We have a network of volunteers throughout Scotland in a variety of roles from hands on work with our guide dogs to other roles such as coordinating the distribution and collection of money boxes, volunteer drivers, receptionists or running visits at our Guide Dog Training School in Forfar.
