Getting here...

Flying

Regular flights travel between Kirkwall and numerous destinations across Scotland. For more information, go to www.loganair.co.uk

 

Sailing

There are four ports in Scotland that have regular crossings to Orkney: Aberdeen, Gills Bay and Scrabster.

  • NorthLink Ferries run daily all year round. Travel from Scrabster to Stromness, or Aberdeen to Hatston, both on Orkney Mainland.
  • Pentland Ferries run daily all year round. Travel from Gills Bay to St. Margaret's Hope, on South Ronaldsay.
