Similar to last winter, Peter Woodward has organised sea kayak sessions in Kirkwall Swimming Pool.

First session is this Sunday 2 December 12 noon - 1 pm and each participant will pay £8 towards pool hire.

The sessions are not coached and are primarily aimed at people with some experience of sea boat handling.  Participants will be free to practise whatever sea boat skills they wish - with the sessions typically being used to practice all kinds of rescues and rolls.  A good option is two paddlers per boat working together.

All members who take part in weekly outdoor coached sessions during the spring and summer are encouraged to attend 

Bring your own kayak or use a club boat.  Please note kayaks must be thoroughly cleaned inside and out to avoid pool contamination.
