Kirkwall Kayak Club's Canoe Polo Team took Glenrothes by storm when they competed in round 1 of the Scottish Canoe Association Polo League Division 3 on Sunday 3rd May 2009. Orkney played the first two games with a man short but their uncompromising approach won them through and they go on to play in the next round on 24th May, again in Glenrothes.
