The Legion moved two points clear at the top of the Williamsons 'A' League after a 9-3 win over RBLM. That's because their nearest challengers, The Commodores dropped two points as Sanday held them to a 6 all draw and it looks like the Golf Club have dropped out of the running as they crashed 8-4 to the Wanderers and are now 8 points behind the leaders. The Untouchables had a good 9-3 win over the Legion Arrows and still no win for the Nomads as they went down 10-2 to the Untouchables 'A'.
No result in from the Sands 2 v St Ola game or for two of the 'B' games namely Shapinsay v Warriors and Muppets v Tankerness. 12 o' clock on Saturday is the deadline for cards to be in to the Legion Club.
Elsewhere there was the first whitewash of the season for the Williamsons 'B' League as Quoyburray B beat the Vikings 12 nil. Shapinsay did beat the Bilco Boys 8-4 and there was a 7-5 win for Quoyburray over the Bilco Boys.
