Darts cups begin soon

It’s an early start for the second half of the K-DDL, with the first cup of the new year being played on Monday, January 6, 2014.
It’s the Swanney Cup for ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams of four to six players, in the Masonic Club, and it is followed by the Henderson Cup the next Monday, which is also for ‘A’ and ‘B’ league teams, played for in the Legion Club.
Both leagues continue their campaign on the week beginning Monday, January 20.
Two late results in for postponed games saw the Sands gain their first point in a six-all draw with the Likely Lads, and there was an 8-4 win for the Motorhoose over the Bilco Boys.
There were two 180s for Mark Vendy, and one for Wayne Small.

Monday, January 13: Henderson Cup, ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams, Legion, 7.30 p.m.

Monday, January 20:
Williamsons ‘A’ League: Untouchables ‘A’ v Commodores; Wanderers v Quoyburray ‘B’; Quoyburray v RBLM; Sanday v Murray Arms; OGC v Legion; Shapinsay v Untouchables.

Williamsons ‘B’ League: Likely Lads v Shore; Legion Arrows v Meadowbank; Deerness v Tankerness; St Ola v Bilco Boys; Motorhoose v Sands ‘2’; Sands v Nomads.
