Tom Notman and Swannay Cups are played
Robbie Norquoy presents the Tom Notman Cup to Robbie Stanger, runner up was Derek Firth.
 
The Untouchables won the Swannay Cup.
 
The final Team cup of the season took place last week with Ten teams entering the popular Swannay Cup.
Two groups of 5 took part in a round Robin format with defending champions the Exiles and Untouchables making their way through to the final with the Untouchables coming out on top by 3 games to 1
 
Friday then saw the popular Tom Notman 301 double start singles cup taking place with a fantastic entry of 32 players taking part.
It was good to see so many of the new youngsters taking part which bodes well for the future, but at the end of the day it was two golden oldies who reached the final with Robbie Stanger beating Derek Firth by 2 games to 0 to win the cup for a 4th time .
 
There were a couple of catch up games played during the week with A league champions The Untouchables held to a 6 all draw by Sanday,  and in the C league Sands 2 continued their unbeaten start to the league with an 8 v 4 win over the Vikings. 
 
This weekend sees the second ranking competition of the year The Pit Stop cup take place in the Golf club with names in for 7.30.
