Success Stories 

At the very end of March we didn't say goodbye to one member of staff but we said goodbye to two as they moved on to their new jobs. Read below for Darran and Jeepstar's success stories. 



Darran joined our team in March 2022, initially with a 6 month contract but was offered an extension.

When Darran joined our team he was lacking in confidence but with the support of EO Darran has showcased his true abilities. Darran has a natural caring nature which means he is very approachable and has fantastic customer service skills and is a great team member.

We are delighted that Darran has a new job at Marsh Commercial as an Accounts Manager.

Jeepstar joined the Employability Orkney team in October 2022 as our Van and Warehouse Assistant. Jeepstar had a real eagerness to learn and improve on his skills and would to take on any new challenge we threw at him.

Jeepstar’s smiley and friendly demeanor meant he was a great team member and would help anyone out.

It has been great to watch Jeepstar's confidence grow and showcase his abilities. Jeepstar was great with all our staff and customers and this will help him in his new role at Tesco.
