Hymn: 129 The Lord is King!
Prayer and Lord’s prayer
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name
Your Kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours.
Now and for ever. Amen.

Children's Address
Hymn: 268 O God of Bethel.
Scripture Readings:
1 Corinthians 12; 4-11
There are different kinds of gifts. But it is the same Spirit who gives them. We serve the Lord in many different ways, but all of us serve the same Lord. Different people can do different things. But the same God gives everything that we need to each of us. He makes us able to work for him as he wants us to do. In each one of us, God shows in certain ways that his Spirit is present in us. He gives certain gifts to each of us so that we can help each other.
The Spirit gives to one person a message that causes people to understand something. And he gives to another person a message that causes people to know something. The same Spirit causes another person to believe God strongly. And he gives to someone else gifts to make sick people well. The same Spirit causes another person to do miracles. And he causes another person to speak messages from God. He causes someone else to recognise the differences between different spirits. He causes another person to speak in different kinds of languages. And the same Spirit causes someone else to explain what those languages mean. It is the same Spirit who does all these things. He decides which gifts he will give to each person.

Galatians 5:6, 13-14
We are united with Christ Jesus. And so, it does not matter whether anyone has circumcised us or not. The only thing that matters is that we believe God. And those who believe him must love God and other people. And then they will show that they believe him. My friends, God has chosen you to come to him so that you can be free. But you must be free in the right way. You are not free to do everything that, as a human person, you may sometimes want to do. Instead, you must be like servants to each other because you love each other. One rule brings together all the rules that God gave to the Jews This one rule says: ‘Love other people as much as you love yourself.’
