Holm Sailing Club is based in the village of St. Mary's. Points racing is held during the summer in Snipe dinghies.
Orkney's Snipe racing began on Thursday evening in Stromness with four boats competing in superb sailing conditions. Orkney will be hosting the Snipe National Championships in 2017, an event to look forward to. The racing will run from Saturday 12 August to Monday 14 August.

The Holm Sailing Club AGM was held on Tuesday 7 March, thanks to everyone who made it along to the meeting.
The annual Regatta date has been set as the 8th July, but Holm will also help to support the Burray Regatta on the 22 July.
The club supported Bag the Bruck again this year, the annual beach clean round the shores of Orkney.
Various club members have now been trained for power boat driving which will help with safety boat coverage at the club.
