Welcome to the Holm Sailing Club website. Holm Sailing Club is based in the village of St. Mary's. Points racing is held during the summer in Snipe dinghies.

Local News

The 2013 UK Snipe National Championships are to be held in Orkney. The event will be held in the first weekend of August, 2nd, 3rd and 4th 2013. Shetland is pencilled in as the venue for the 2014 Fireball European Championships.

Club News

Four boats raced on Tuesday 8th May for the start of Holm Sailing Club's Tuesday evening points series.

The Tuesday evening points series continues on Tuesday 15th May with a 1900 start.

Weymouth gears up for the 2012 Olympics which will start on July 29.

Equipment selections have been made for Rio 2016. Kiteboarding will replace windsurfing and cats are back with the Nacra 17. More details on the ISAF website.

Giles Scott wins the Finn UK National Championships at Royal Cornwall Yacht Club beating the legendary Ben Ainsley.

Tom Slingsby of Australia successfully defends his title at the Laser World Championships in Boltenagen, Germany. This is the fifth time Tom Slingsby has been the laser World Champion.

Robert Scheidt and Bruno Prada of Brazil win the Star World Championships at Hyeres, just beating the British team of Iain Percy and Andrew Simpson.

The 2012 UK Snipe National Championships will be held in Dale Yacht Club, near Milford Haven in Penbrokeshire, South Wales from 18 to 20 August.

The 2013 Island Games is to be held in Bermuda from 13th to the 19th July 2013.
