Holm Sailing Club is based in the village of St. Mary's. Points racing is held during the summer in Snipe dinghies.
Not much sailing activity at the moment in Orkney. Things are likely to be quiet till May 2017. Orkney will be hosting the Snipe National Championships in 2017, an event to look forward to. The racing will run from Saturday 12 August to Monday 14 August.

The club boats are currently packed away for the winter.
The Holm Sailing Club AGM was held on Tuesday 7 March, thanks to everyone who made it along to the meeting.
The annual Regatta date has been set as the 8th July, but Holm will also help to support the Burray Regatta on the 22 July.
The club will support Bag the Bruck once again. The date is 22nd April, meeting at the top of the first barrier at 10am. Susan Foubister has kindly offered to provide a lunch for participants. The Bag the Bruck is an annual beach clean on the shores of Orkney supported by the local council.
The Tuesday evening points series will begin on 2nd May with a 7pm gun.
Various club members have now been trained for power boat driving which will help with safety boat coverage at the club.
