Things are looking very exciting for Orkney's traditional song in the future, with old songs coming to light for the first time in decades. Even if you only like singing in the bath, this is the place to come for inspiration (and maybe even some techniques!).

Oh boy, this has been annoying! I had never heard of mp3 hosting sites until I started this site, and it fairly opened my eyes to the possibilities. I'm sure we've all heard of YouTube and My Space, but the problems with them are that they aren't THIS site!! My Space also only has space for 6 songs.
So, despite the problems I was having with my original site (Ripway.com) not loading the music, I have perservered. Maybe not as quickly as some folk would have liked, but it's done now and we now have an absolutely fabulous (well, I think it is) embedded player in the mp3 page, on which I can load all our songs. In the words of Henrietta Groundwater (probably), Hurrah!!
All our music is now loaded onto www.reverbnation.com, but you can listen through this site on our mp3 page.
