AMBLERS - MARWICK BAY

by Kate Barratt - 17:27 on 25 July 2012

Fishermen's Huts Amble.
This amble was a windy one but very pleasant and easy going with spectacular cliff views down into geos which really can only be seen on Orkney's west coast, especially with boiling white water. Plenty of female eider ducks and their chicks as well, the males having scuttled off to do their own thing. Seven of us enjoyed the space and especially refreshments in the pub at Dounby.
