Please take a photograph of your group "in action." Don't forget to ask for permission from everyone for the photo to be published on the web. Then email it to the address below and we will upload it to the gallery.

I am seeking to find out how much support there is for a reformed Archaeology Group.  I know of three who are keen to join but I think we probably need a rather larger contingent to make it worthwhile.

I am putting this on Facebook, the website and a direct mail shot to all email members of the U3A.

If you are interested, could you please let me have a reply, by e mail preferably to rthomasthedooter@mypostoffice.co.uk .  It would be helpful if you could give an indication of particular areas of interest – for instance whether we might take a very broad view and take in the whole period for Orkney from the Mesolithic to the pawning to Scotland in 1486.  Equally you may be interested in a wider picture of Scotland, the UK as a whole and indeed archaeology of the world.

I will wait to hear from you.
