Stromness SC is run by a group of dedicated Flag Officers and Members and is well supported by others both on and off the water. Details of the current flag officers are given below.
Commodore: Kenny Holland
A keen water sports enthusiast Kenny has participated in the past in windsurfing, kayakingand surfing. He started dinghy sailing after he retired home to Orkney in 2007. After crewing for a couple of years he purchased his own bo
at in 2009. He now helms his snipe 'Double Dutch' on club nights. Named so because the finer points of dinghy sailing is still a mystery to him.

As an enthusiastic supporter of waterborne sports in Orkney waters, I am proud to be on the management committee of Stromness Sailing Club. We welcome all sailors – novice and experienced, to be members of our friendly Club, and I look forward to welcoming anyone who wants to join with us to enjoy this excellent activity.
Iso has been a member of Stromness SC since 2004 and is currently Secretary, Membership Secretary and the regular race starter.She used to sail regularly many years ago, most recently as skipper of a Miracle dinghy.
After nearly 30 years sailing GP14s south of the border, this is Malcolm's ninth year sailing his Snipe, Go Quickly Red, in Orkney.
