Things are looking very exciting for Orkney's traditional song in the future, with old songs coming to light for the first time in decades.  Even if you only like singing in the bath, this is the place to come for inspiration (and maybe even some techniques!).

Well, it's been quite a ride.  From the first HLF application to the last piece of paperwork, it's been a real labour of love for all those involved.  We hope that you've enjoyed the information we've put up on our website for all we've found during the Project, and that you've taken some inspiration from it.  We've had a fabulous time singing and listening to others sing at our SongShare events, workshops, concerts, gigs and informal get togethers, and we hope that you take some of the information from this website and start singing along to these, sometimes ancient, sometimes modern, tunes. 


Orkney Singers continues, but the Big Orkney Song Project is over.  We'll miss you BOSP, but we hope to continue the good work into the future!
