Commodores go top

There’s a new name at the top of the Williamsons ‘A’ League as the Commodores took advantage of the Legions game being postponed by beating Sanday 7-5 to move up but only on game difference.
That defeat more or less puts all end to Sanday’s hopes of the title. I know it’s only half-way but Sanday are 8 points adrift and lots to catch up.
The only other team challenging are the Golf Club who beat the Untouchables ‘A’, 9-3. So it’s more or less a 3 way horse race at the half way mark.
Also postponed was the Quoyburray ‘B’ v Wanderers game all these postponed or cancelled games must be played by the end of December.
The Untouchables have put themselves well clear of the relegation zone with a good 7-5 win over the Legion Arrows who are very much in the relegation zone.

Things are very hot at the top of the Williamson’B’ league with only 3 points separating 5 teams. The Quoyburray Boys are still top but only by 2 points after losing 7-5 to Shapinsay. Also 2 points behind are the Murray Arms 7-5 winners over the Muppets. The other team 2 points off the top are Tankerness by beating the Vikings in a postponed game from week No 3. So they are still 2 games behind and undefeated.
The Bilco Boys lost out 10-2 to the Nomads but are still only 3 points off the top. Still no joy for the young boys of St Ola ‘B’ going down 9-3 to the St Ola. No score in from the Motorhoose.
