It's still catch up time in The Williamson's A League for some of the teams as the Legion hold a 6 point advantage. They played their game a couple of weeks ago an 11-1 rout of the Sands “2”.
The Commodore are the nearest challengers after a 11-1 defeat of the Untouchables and it's hard to fathom out what's happened to the Untouchables as they are now down in the relegation zone, the Golf Club could also be up alongside the Commodores but there is no score card in from them.
Keeping pace with the big boys are the Warriors with a 9-3 defeat of the Quoyburray “B”. Good win also for the Untouchables “A”, a 7-5 defeat of the Wanderers, help them up near the top but the Wanderers are near the other end of the table.
In the Williamson's B League, Quoyburray and the Bilco Boys are setting the pace both had good wins, Quoyburray 8-4 over the Muppets and the Bilco Boys the same score against St Ola “B”, but that was a good result for the young boys of St Ola.
The Vikings are also going well and more or less put all end to the Nomads hopes of a quick return to the top flight as they trail the top two by 8 points, the Vikings won 7-5 but let's not forget the boys from the Hope as the Murray Arms beat St Ola 10-2.
The weather won out in the Shapinsay v Tankerness game as the Isles boys didn't get in so that leaves Tankerness with a couple of catch up games.
