Orkney Community Planning Partnership is structured around a number of themes associated with the 16 National Outcomes set by the Scottish Government and used in our Orkney Community Plan 2013-16, which incorporates Orkney's Single Outcome Agreement.
The role of the Steering Group is to guide the work and work priorities of the Partnership. Thematic groups and subgroups take ownership of particular National Outcomes. Their role is to put actions into place which will help achieve the local priorities identified for Orkney under each theme, as set out in the Orkney Community Plan.
A representative from each thematic group attends the Partnership Liaison Group. This group provides coordinated information and advice to the Steering Group, takes forward actions requested by the Steering Group and facilitates communication between all the groups.
