Music Appreciation Group One - 30 March

On Monday, March 30th, members met, as usual, in Glenys’s house at 10.30. On this occasion, they were joined by the three members of Music Appreciation Group Two. The theme for the month was the next letter in the alphabet - i.e. Composers or compositions beginning with the letter ‘I’. Somewhat surprisingly, this proved to be easier than expected (especially if one included a pianist whose name began with the requisite letter, and several pieces whose titles began with ‘I’!).
While the majority of the following choices were enjoyed on YouTube, the groups also enjoyed listening to several CDs.
