A marvellous comeback by Stromness saw them win the Maurice Walls Cup for the first time since 2005. Trailing Thorfinn by 2-0 at half time Stromness scored 4 goals without reply in the second half to run out 4-2 winners. Sam Hunter with two (one deflecting off a Thorfinn defender), Drew Clarke, and Jamie Flett were the Stromness scorers. Greg Scott with a penalty and Oskar Stout had opened the scoring for Thorfinn.
