Anzac Day 2014

In Australia and New Zealand, 25th April is known as Anzac Day, when the sacrifice of both countries in the two World Wars is remembered with pride.  A delegation from Kirkwall Royal British Legion was joined by Greg Miller of Perth Australia who now lives in Orkney, in a visit to St Olaf's Cemetery today.  Photos of the wreath laying there on the grave of a New Zealand pilot and details of his death in a wartime accident in Orkney can be seen using the link below.
