Laura Eunson's War

The October edition of Living Orkney magazine includes the first instalment of Laura Flett's story of her war service in Orkney.  The story does not feature on the magazine's cover, so could be missed by those interested in Orkney's World War 2 history.  Born Eunson in Kincardine in 1921, Laura worked in the Army Kinema Service in Orkney.  Having briefly visited Kirkwall in 1939, she was pleased to be posted here after her ATS training in 1942.  A "taster" page of Laura's story can be downloaded using the link below.
