Join us to discover some interesting fungi species around Lyness, Hoy. We will explore the Wee Fea plantation and adjacent rough grazing/heath and this will involve walking uphill and across uneven ground. However the pace will be slow, so dress for all weathers and with stout footwear. Bring a packed lunch - plus some wet-wipes if you are likely to handle any fungi.
If you would like to come along we will be using the ferry departing Houton 09:50 (arriving Lyness at 10:30 if joining from Hoy) and returning on the 16:40 service arriving Houton at 17:15. Please make your own reservation with Orkney Ferries.
