Stronsay Pop Up Heritage Centre
Situated in the Village of Whitehall at Woods Yard, the centre showcases Stronsay’s maritime history, specifically related to the herring industry. Stop by to see pictures of Stronsay as it was with 4,000+ people living on island, give the siren a turn, or sit and have a cuppa while browsing the record books, plus much more.
The pop-up centre offers the community and visitors the opportunity to influence the permanent Stronsay Heritage Centre by providing a chance to comment and give feedback on existing displays, add ideas and offer suggestions on future displays.
