Just a thought

See how good and how pleasant it is,

when pilgrims dwell together as one.

It is like the precious ointment on the head,

that ran down upon the beard,

ran down upon the beard of Aaron,

and on to the collar of his garments,

as though the dew of Hermon

ran down on the hills of Zion.

For there the Lord has commanded the blessing,

even life for evermore.  (Psalm 133)

Prayer:

Grant to your people, good Lord, the spirit of unity, that they may dwell together in your love, and so bear to all the world the ointment of your healing and the dew of your blessing.

(Translation and Prayer by John Eaton)
