New Orcadian war grave photos

John Ross Scott took a tour visit to Northern France and Flanders in October.  It included a significant number of war cemeteries, at two of which he kindly agreed to visit Orcadian graves not already photographed for the website and left a memorial cross on behalf of the Legion.  These were the graves of James A Mowat of Stromness, who died near Arras in September 1918, and Robert Rendall of Firth, who volunteered to serve in the Seaforths after he was invalided out of the Royal Naval Reserve and was killed in the 1916 Battles of the Somme.  Photos of their graves can now be seen on the website, also a photo of John at another Orcadian grave during one of his tour's few good weather days, using the link below.
