Flotta War Memorial was entered this year in the New Entry category of the Royal British Legion Scotland's Best Kept War Memorial competition.  It won both the Area and National prizes, a notable achievement.  Link below is to a photo taken at the memorial this morning, showing members of Flotta Community Council officially accepting the certificates and the trophy from a delegation of Kirkwall Royal British Legion office bearers.
