U3A Walking Group - March 2019

Six hardy folks turned up at the Rendal Doocot in dry weather but with quite a breeze. Off we set, with a short meander around the grave yard by the shore, only to be caught by the rain heading up the hill half way through the walk. However wet we got, it was a mild temperature. A very welcome coffee and cakes were provided at Barbara's house to warm us up. Thank you very much Barbara.
The next walk will be on Thursday 2nd May hopefully in better weather. I intend to try and have the walks in the first week of the month as far as possible but I was away at the start of this month. Time and place will be forwarded nearer the date.
