The Festive Open Day on 27th December attracted quite a crowd of visitors.
The tour of the collection led by the Hon. Curator at 2 o'clock was greatly appreciated by all who attended.
The Museum moved to this building in the mid nineteenth century There have been many additions in that time. There is always something new to see among artefacts of national and international significance.
Stromness Museum is an independent museum maintained and managed by a committee of volunteers elected from the members of the Orkney Natural History Society Museum.
Running costs are met from entrance fees, donations and grants.
April - October: 10am -5pm, Sun- Sat
November - March: 11am -3.30 pm (closed on Sundays)
Admission charges: Weekly ticket, come back as often as you like for 7 days.

School pupil £1.00
