For all parents and people who care about children in Orkney
The Childcare Partnership is here to help you.
VISION STATEMENT
“Working together to make life better for the Children of Orkney.”
The Childcare Partnership is concerned with the well-being of all children in Orkney, including those affected by inequality, vulnerability, or disability. Our vision is to promote high quality childcare, accessible to all, supported by the development of a well-trained workforce. Much important preventative work with families can be achieved through support for parents and training in parenting skills. Central to the availability of childcare and early education, is the provision of an up-to-date information service.
The Orkney Childcare Partnership is an advisory group which contributes to the planning and funding of children’s services in Orkney. Representatives from health, education, social services and the voluntary and private sectors all meet regularly to work together on trying to make Orkney a better place for our children.
