Orkney Badminton Association

Orkney is an archipelago of 70 islands and currently seventeen of them are habited. Around 20,000 people live in Orkney which is situated north of the Scottish mainland. The badminton season runs from September to April each year. Orkney compete against neighbouring island Shetland and Caithness from the Scottish Mainland in various Junior and Senior Inter-County Matches.

The Intersport Orkney Open will be held on Friday 7th & Saturday 8th November. Entry forms are now available to download from the library section under 2008 - 09 Reports. Now in it's 13th year this tournament is still as popular as ever bringing in players from Shetland, Caithness and further sooth. So get your entries in and here's hoping for a good one!
