Hey Acker

Next time you go on a Scotland trip, you want my multi-purpose Gillette deodorant can, mention the ‘b’ word and you’ll be briskly whisked away off to a luxurious one bedroom apartment with a Tesco’s ready meal chucked in for nothing. It gives the local Neanderthals a good laugh and it will take the heat off me. Lol

See ya at the marathon, now I’m off to get a fake tan, grow a big black beard, put a blanket over my head and change my name to Abdulah Mahula. I heard the De-nations is in Italy next year.

Yesnaby Pictures 8th Jun 08
Hi
Did my first ever Motocross shot yesterday and really enjoyed it. The bikes come around a lot faster than football, hockey and rugby balls. Not allowed to leave a link to the pictures but if you Google 'orkneysports' (all one word)you will find them easy enough. Sixty-eight pictures up at the moment but will add some more. They are best viewed 'full size' from the button on the right. Any constructive comments welcome.

Cheers

beach race
hey in the 2008 beach race can anyone come up and take part?

Posted by Allan on 28 May 2008
Me n me mate Keith are plannin to come up, might get more! When is the racin on? Is there plenty of practice? When's it best to arrive (Fri or Thu). What's the weather / midges like? Camping or Hotel? Do they hike up the food / beer prices? How many usually take part? Do we keep our SACU race no.? ..... Cheers
Posted by Stevie Aitchison on 11 June 2008
The minnumum age limit for the beach race is eight and that would be a bike with no more than 65cc, at the other end it is unlimited as long as you can hold on your fine.

Posted by Jimmy on 15 June 2008
Hi Stevie the beach race weekend is on the13/14 Sept.
There is practice laps on Sat am before the racing starts but not on the Sun
You can come up any time before the weekend. Why not come a bit earlier and see some of our beautiful Islands.
The weather is a bit of potluck
You can camp if you want or try and book a hotel or B&B, the food up here is first class, no they don't put the prices up and lots of pubs to choose from.
All going well we will hope for around 80 adult riders +.
Your race no. will be allocated to you when you put your entry form back to us.

which bike advice
Hi all I am in a bit of a dilema - help. I used to be a schoolboy mx chappie around 15yrs ago and have decided to purchase a new bike for a bit of R&R. I am looking at the 250 cc range and have whittled it down to two: Honda and Yamaha and this is based on my experience all that time ago. I would appreciate some advice from someone who is a rider rather than a sales person. please advise
